A damaged roof doesn't wait for a convenient time, and neither do we. Big Toms Roofing keeps trucks staged around Whitehall so a certified roofer can be looking at your roof within hours, not days, with a straight-talk estimate before any work starts.
Big Toms Roofing isn't a national call center that dispatches whoever's cheapest that week. We're a licensed roofing operation built around Whitehall and the surrounding Whitehall, MI communities, with crews who know the local building codes, the weather patterns, and the housing stock inside and out.
From a single missing shingle to a full tear-off, our Whitehall crews handle every stage of roofing work with the same attention to detail — licensed, permitted, and cleaned up when we leave.
High winds, hail, and fallen limbs don't schedule appointments, and neither should your repair. Our Whitehall emergency crews arrive with tarps, decking material, and fasteners to stop active leaks the same day you call, then follow up with a full repair plan once the storm passes.
A Roof Replacement replacement is one of the biggest investments a Whitehall homeowner makes in their property, and we treat it that way — daily site cleanup, magnetic nail sweeps, and a final walkthrough with the crew lead before we consider the job done.
Downtime costs money, so commercial Roof Replacement jobs get scheduled around your operating hours whenever possible, with clear communication to property managers and tenants throughout the project.
A lot of roof failures are preventable with a twice-a-year inspection catching lifted flashing or worn pipe boots before they turn into interior water damage. Our Whitehall inspection service checks the field, flashing, penetrations, gutters, and attic ventilation, then hands you a written report with photos.
Poor attic ventilation cooks shingles from underneath and can void manufacturer warranties. Our Whitehall crews balance intake and exhaust ventilation to extend the life of your Roof Replacement system and lower attic temperatures in summer.
We're not trying to be the biggest Roof Replacement company in Whitehall, MI — we're trying to be the one you'd actually recommend to your neighbor.
Every estimate is itemized and handed to you before we touch the roof — no verbal quotes that change once the ladder comes down.
Because our trucks stay staged around Whitehall, we're rarely more than an hour from your address for emergency calls.
Certification isn't a marketing badge here — it's required training that affects how your warranty is honored.
Every completed job comes with a written workmanship warranty separate from the manufacturer's material warranty.
Our team has sat through enough adjuster meetings in Whitehall, MI to know what documentation actually moves a claim forward.
We treat your yard and driveway like we'd want ours treated — swept, protected, and cleared before we leave each day.
We don't cherry-pick these — they're representative of the calls, texts, and reviews we get after most Roof Replacement jobs in Whitehall.
"Called around 9pm after a branch came through part of our roof and Big Toms Roofing actually picked up. They had someone out that night to stop the water and scheduled the repair for that week. That kind of response is rare."
"The estimate they gave us matched the final invoice exactly, which after two other quotes from companies that kept adding line items, was a relief. Crew was professional and cleaned up better than I expected."
"They handled the entire insurance claim conversation with our adjuster, sent over photo documentation, and honestly made a stressful situation way less stressful. Roof looks great too."
"As a property manager I've worked with a lot of roofing companies and Big Toms Roofing is one of the few that actually communicates before showing up and after the job's done."
"Bought a house in Whitehall last year and had them do the pre-purchase inspection. Found flashing issues the seller ended up covering. Saved us thousands before we even closed."
Big Toms Roofing crews are staged to cover all of Whitehall and the neighborhoods around it, from established residential streets to newer developments and commercial corridors.
